Well I'm glad you like the new version- the old one was pretty poor really. What else needs improving?

Third line. Done. Thanks very much.

Alright, so this post is just a shameless attempt to get this entry back up the peer review list, but does anyone else have any ideas about how this entry can be improved?

Magwitch - My name is Mags and I am funky. Posted Jul 3, 2006
Oh, ok since you ask...
"Don't ask what 'Neuadd' means."
I fancy a footnote, saying something along the lines of "For anyone who is really interested it means 'hall'" or words to that effect

Footnote inserted-what do you think?

Well, I don't like to blow my own trumptet...

Then whistle, instead. You feel it is ready?

Had another look- made a couple of changes- it's ready. How do I go about whistling?

An ex of mine went to the University of Glamorgan, so I visited it quite a few times (although this was about twelve years ago...).
You haven't mentioned that the nearest town is Pontypridd, which is easily walkable-to, or the various facilities found there (as far as I remember, various shops including a Woolworths, a Wimpy, and a nice park). The railway line into Cardiff is an interesting one too - lots of tiny little stops with cool Welsh names.
I seem to recall Trefforest being very hilly and on the one occasion we dared to go into a local pub, we were stared at rather viciously by a silent group of Welsh locals until we decided to leave. Don't think they were too keen on students there, not in those days anyway.
I remember the student union being pretty good, if small - good food in the refectory, and a great ball at the end of one year with Jules Holland and his big band. Certainly more entertainment than we had at Reading at the time, with its bankrupt student union!
Anyway, to sum up and stop going on about what it was like way back in the mists of time, I think you could add more about the town and local surroundings, and also mention student housing outside the campus, as most people ended up living there, certainly in their second year.

Okay, made some changes to account for those points- what does anyone think now?

I'll take that as an affirmation shall I?

I like this, but I think some of your humorous style can get in the way of a very good factual entry. I'd consider dropping a few jokes, and moving some to footnotes - but it's your call, of course.
Some specific points:
<> Paddington-Cardiff services do not go via Birmingham - it's a different line altogether. Can you rewrite this?
<> its
<> has
<> is "need" better than "have"?
<> Is the launderette self-service? If so, you don't need to say "facilities you can use yourself".
A few spelling errors (laundrette, catapault, Millenium, Accomodation, lacksadasical, buidling, requirments, exhalted, pronouce, slop etc) - could you run it through a spell-checker?
<> purpose-built
<<'H' block, one of the main teaching buildings, houses a coffee shop and there is a second one in 'J' block, opposite the computer suite, which is open 24 hours a day during term time, and has, of course, internet access throughout6.>> I'd describe the computer suite in a separate sentence.
<> Again, I'd split these ideas into three separate sentences.
<> would a footnote be better?
<> Where, until London's new Wembley Stadium is completed, you can...
<> I'm sure we don't condone this sort of activity!
<> I love this bit!
<> I don't understand this bit - you say there are still halls remaining on campus?
<> per building. Each set is equipped
> Be precise about what "flat" means. Maybe if you called the student flats "rooms" instead?
<<'Neuadd' may mean, 42, but it is unlikely11. Whether than matters is up to you.>> You completely lost me.
<> This is mainly... ?
<> Why not just quote figures for 2006?
<> ...Glamorgan, who is...
<> I'd drop this, but if you insist, put a comma after BBC.
<> i.e. never.
Hope this helps!

Damn- when I was a young slip of an undergraduate, you got to Cardiff Via Brimingham New Street. My whole youth is disappearing...
For reasons I can't be bothered to explain, it's not easy running this entry through a spell-checker on my computer, I will attend to the errors you've mentioned, thanks.
In answer to your question I don't intend to put the 2006 grade requirements because they would be of no use at all to anyone reading this entry in 2010, for example.
42 is the number which, acording to the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, is the ultimate answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything.
I do believe I have addressed all your other issues, thanks for your points.

Alright I screwed- can anyone correct any specific errors for me, I can't see any that I know I've misspelled.
