I hit the back button and scanned my post to see which character was the tenth one!

I did indeed! Even a veteran h2ger like me gets a little nervous when confronted with a blank Post page stating that nothing has been created and no conversations made!
I must be one of the lucky ones, however, because I have each and every article - including all graphics - which has ever appeared in <./>ThePost</.> sitting safely on my (constantly backed-up) hard drive.
The fact that the previous weekend h2g2 had been particularly tricky to access had everything to do with which tonsil cartoon appeared this week... plus I was grinning for days after looking at it and my word is that of god in TP.

The Get Writing site was advertised for the first time on tv last night after the first episode of the new Canterbury Tales series. This undoubtedly explains the huge number of new users on the online list today.
