Did I find anything on Fate's body?

his mace (the Hammer of Oblivion) and his pauldron (which grants the strength to wield the mace). Together they can provide visions of the future useful in winning battles

*Rolls about putin out small fires in his cloak, still smouldering and giving off littl wihisps of smoke walks over to where fate's body is lying, stoops and prises a couple of guanleted fingers from his left hand. Then turns and starts to walk off down the mountain avioding magma flows and burning ahs clusters*

*The crescent craft, piloted by the assassin captain HDS, streaks overhead, and hovers just long enough for the node on the bottom to flash. After the light plays across the remains of Fate, the crescent craft dis-apears*

btw, Hussassan, I dropped you off, freshly cloned, in the battle arena. Hope you don't mind

*takes the mace and the other thing whatever it was... cant remember*

pauldron. a shoulder gaurd that is "U" shaped. It rests on the shoulder, is strapped on with a band that goes across the chest, and attatches to armor by buckles. It deflects blows away from the shoulder and neck and does little to inhibit movement. This particular pauldron grants the wearer the strength to wield the mace, no living thing other than the one bearing the pauldron can wield it

*puts it on and puts the mace across his back*

you now have an 5 foot mace, and a pauldron almost as big as yer head! Enjoy! Not really, its like the One Ring, it sizes itself to the wearer/bearer, but the mace remains no less useless to those without the pauldron
