Yeah, I'll be in that part of the world then too. I'll be on dartmoor and will see the eclipse from the top of one of the tors, hopefully.
And a friend is going down with a sound system and is holding a free-party somewhere in Devon . And then there's all the festivals...

Nope, fraid I don't know that one. I'm headed to a campsite near Bovey Tracey on the edge of the moors. Do you know it round there?
Last time I went to Devon was over 10 years ago for a wild week in Plymouth. I'll be glad to see devon and cornwall again. Did you ever make it to the elephant fayre?

You mean the elephant fayre is up and running again? This is good news. It was the first festy I ever went to and it was brill.
I must've been about 18 then so it was a while ago. Met loads of really great people and saw killing joke play during a thunderstorm.
Quality!
Help, I've got to be up in 4 hours!!!!
Goodnight, don't let the bed-bugs bite!

I'll be in dieppe for the 11th. Should get a pretty good view.
Hey, what are yous doin' for the milenemmum? Me and a friend are planning on going to Wales, sitting on a deserted beach, throwing our watches into the sea, surfing, and watching the sun come up. Maybe we'll climb a mountain instead.
Sound dull? Yeah, i suppose. I'm just not too keen on being in a city that night. I'm not worried about Nostradamus, or anything. It's just the idea of how many people are going to die that night. Not only in the cult suicides, but the possible riots, and alcohol poisonings, and drug f**kups (evberyone's gonna go crazy that night, and do as many drugs as they can) and those weirdos who are gonna kill people, and stuf.
And the idea of being cooped up in a city, with people all over the place going crazy.
And the morning after. wow.
"It's far better for some people to love something than for everyone just to like it"
sorry, that's just a quote i heard on TV as i was typing.
Armageddon would be cool. Come on, don't say the thought of all that post apocalyptic gang warfare and survival struggles isn't the slightest bit appealing.
Anyhoz, later

Yep...the thought of being in a town on 31/12/99 is too awful to contemplate! Overcrowded Pubs,Over-the-top prices..and over-the-top people!Give me a quiet place to lie back & sky-watch

Of course, of course. Yes, let's all save pluto. What the hell, let's call all the asteroids about the place planets. Het, even the Mir space station. what the hell.
Did that sound sarcastic or pretentioss? sorry, it wasn't meant to be.
|Dopoooodeeedooooooooo.
Planet X shopuld be called Atlantis, and should really be the place where all the plectrums go. In fact, it should always be saturday evening just before the beach bars close (does that man know everything, or what?)

Ahhhh..is that an oblique reference to heavenly bodies! Thanx for the apology (I think!) and I don't think that any Planet deserves the name Atlantis..it would suffer the fate of sinking without trace

The man in the shack Posted Jul 18, 1999
How about The planet Shazz? AND What would happen to it then?
Save Pluto
shazzPRME Posted Jul 18, 1999
Well..if we are back onto the whole object of this forum (!)if Pluto gets declassified it would be downgraded to an asteroid It appears to be one of the most interesting "bodies" in the Solar System..also it's quite cute With the suspicion of another planet existing out there it could mean that we oscillate from being a 9 planet SS to an 8 & then back to 9!! The number 10 has a much rounder feel to it Good God ..I'm rambling..sorry I'm going to try some clever stuff soon (Thanx to Jan* for the help BTW) and import a pic. of Pluto to my homepage

Shouldn't we send the Bgwigs in Astromy out to Pluto so they can see for themselves that it is a Planet Worth Saving? Sheould we get bumper stickers that say "Pluto, Love it or Leave It"
