Another Da Vinci Code Question
Reefgirl (Brunel Baby) Posted Feb 8, 2005
It's called Jumping on the Bandwagon, they've re published Holy Blood, Holy Grail and the 3 authors are sueing Dan Brown for 'Pinching thier idea', as soon as something becomes popular people are going to flog it to death which is probably why Last of the Summer Wine is still going after a million years and why tours around Last of the Summer Wine country, Herriot Country, Heartbeat Country and the like are so popular
Paris and Rome tourist board are going to hang on to this for as long as is humanly possible to make money

"Pinching their idea" how can you sue someone for using what you claim to be the truth??? Or coming to the same conclusions after examining the same evidence?
Scene - 2nd opinion by consultant after GP referal
"It is my conclusion the patient is delusional"
GP: - "That was my conclusion too - I'm going to sue you for stealing it"

Could be the reason Brown fell for the Priory of Sion thing, everyone else knows PoS is fake except those authors

Holly Blood Holy Grail was a major bestseller when it first came out - and it's selling well again now, on the back of The Da Vinci Code. What are they complaining about? Or could it be that a publicised law case will shift even *more* copies? (Read both! Make up your own mind!)

I've found the source of my info (Fortean Times) it says "Micheal Baigent, Richard Leigh and Henry Lincoln are all suing Brown for infringment of their ideas" read the whole thing on http://www.forteantimes.com

Even if it was true, things are so integrated now anyway that o completely rework the system would cause chaos.
Since I believe Jesus to be any other guy (though had a lot of sway) if he did exist, the existence of this bloodline is very possible.

Yep so far they've got Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon, Audrey Tautu (Amelie) as Sophie Nevue and Jean Reno as Bezu Fache, I'd like to see John Cleese play Sir Leigh
