h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I want to meet my Girlfriend in Bristol. I live in Edinburgh. My Mum knows and is fine with it, but she's said we're not going to Bristol just to meet her. Also, her Mum dosen't know. Any suggestions?

P.S. I've talked to her by phone so I know she's not dodgy.

First of all, how old are you hun?
It could be a good idea for maybe your mum & her mum to talk over the phone, then if her mum is assured by your mum that you aren't a 2-headed murderer, it may make things easier!
I wouldn't suggest that you do anything without your parents knowing, as this can only make matters worse/impossible!
If you show maturity in the way you deal with the situation, it will work in your favour!

hello hun well first of all hun it is always best to be truthful right from the start of a relationship because from my experience a relationshup doesn't stand a chance if it's based on lies, also it would be a good idea for you to dit down with both your mother and her mother with your girlfriend so that you can voth tell them how you feel about one another but you also have to remember that you are older than your girlfriend and what you need to do is take your relationship one step at a time and if you are meant to be together it will stand the test of time
