"incapable of remaining seated on a sofa"

I don't want to know, do I?

And then it was over.

Post 6

Kerr_Avon - hunting stray apostrophes and gutting poorly parsed sentences

We kept drinking when we got back to my place. About 0600 I fell off the sofa when I tried to sit up.

smiley - ale

And then it was over.

Post 7

Fair enough. I actually fell asleep on the train- not used to being up so early, and drinking so much ale with so little food, you see.

And then it was over.

Post 8

Kerr_Avon - hunting stray apostrophes and gutting poorly parsed sentences

You could have eaten more, there wasn't a shortage in the pub...

smiley - ale

And then it was over.

Post 9

You see I missed that bit Kerr, I’d already been lulled into a deep sleep by the gently tones of B’s snoring.

smiley - headhurts

And then it was over.

Post 11

Kerr_Avon - hunting stray apostrophes and gutting poorly parsed sentences

It was the gentle tones of B's snoring that ensured I stayed up smiley - winkeye

smiley - ale

And then it was over.

Post 12

Odo

He wasn’t really trying, that was a fairly mid range snore.

And then it was over.

Post 13

Kerr_Avon - hunting stray apostrophes and gutting poorly parsed sentences

It was loud enough for me, thank you. Bruce's is bad enough.

smiley - ale

And then it was over.

Post 14

Odo

I was in the land of smiley - ale induced sleep, so it didn’t bother me.

Thumping his is usually very effective.

Falling asleep on trains is a rather dangerous hobby to start.

And then it was over.

Post 15

Kerr_Avon - hunting stray apostrophes and gutting poorly parsed sentences

Thumping his what? I mean, I can think of plenty of options....

smiley - ale

And then it was over.

Post 16

*Hunts out smiley - tea in a desperate bid to stay awake*

smiley - erm I suppose starting from the shoulders and then start working downwards if the first attempt fails....

I did set my mobile phone alarm for a couple of minutes before the train was due in Newcastle, so both that and a text messgae from "Jeremy" my stalker woke me up just as I was approaching the Tyne Bridge.

At least the train wasn't going on to Edinburgh, as I was pretty sure it would until I saw the sign saying "NEwcastle" on the departure board.

And then it was over.

Post 18

Odo

You have a stalker!!!!! How intriguing.

Is this anything to do with the Bovril Boy tag? smiley - winkeye

And then it was over.

Post 19

Kerr_Avon - hunting stray apostrophes and gutting poorly parsed sentences

Go read his journal Odo smiley - winkeye

smiley - ale

And then it was over.

Post 20

egon

That was Kerr's reaction. And thanks to B I am now referring to the stalker as "Jeremy"...

I do go into more detail in my journal- although it soon descnded into a discussion of "the shoe thing" and my politics lecturer.
