Not exactly.
Drunken college minion, easily swayed by the ability to buy more beer from the three pound.

Cat-Eyes: No..... why.... ? Posted Feb 12, 2005
I'm thinking this is a bad part of the conversation to come into...
Oh, NPY, what are we doing on Esfandia? It seems to have ground to a standstill, is it my fault?

Secretly Not Here Any More Posted Feb 13, 2005
I don't see anything to brag about in paying for women's company, in currency or alcohol, and I certainly don't see a place for it on this forum.

NPY Posted Feb 13, 2005
yeah think all this talk of AD and an inflatable bride/drunk woman is probably best left alone.
and i've no idea why me and Cat-Eyes are on that planet. i'm kinda getting confused and waiting for someone to get to the point so we can go do something.

That happens sometimes. Just stick it out, it'll be worth it.

I wasnt bragging but this isnt going to turn into an arguement.

NPY Posted Feb 14, 2005
ok. i'm not really wanting to argue with anyone, if that's ok with the rest of you.

Secretly Not Here Any More Posted Feb 15, 2005
There shouldn't be an argument, so long as people remember the house rules and general rules of appropriateness regarding what is essentially still a Jedi Academy thread.

*deletes rant*

If you've got a legitimate and thought out grievance with the Academy, voice it. Don't just '*delete rant*'!

No offense,Psyc, but I wish you'd stop saying something really nasty/stuck up and then put a nice smiley at the end. It's kinda hypocritical.
See what I mean?Bugging,ain't it?

Okay, you asked me to write it
The OOC thread was created so that all the discussion that was happening on the IC threads could go away (if I remember rightly you werent to happy about all the new messages you had to read through to find bits relevant to yourself, when they werent about the game - I'll find the exact posting if anyones interested. Its in the council chamber somewhere).
Most of the discussions on this thread werent about the game, and no 'rules of appropriateness', as you yourself put it, played any part - its an OOC thread for players to talk about what ever they choose to, not just OOC talk about the academy which should be in the requests/suggestions thread (as talk about the academy usually involves suggesting or wanting something, rather then 'look at the new planet. Its blue' etc), unless its discussing a charecter/event of course, although that seems to be mainly in other threads on peoples personal spaces - Ill lurk and find examples on request of course.
What im trying to say Psyc is pretty much this. The OOC thread was created for your convenience so that we could talk about things amongst ourselves. If you dont want to read it, dont read it.
Not only that, but by talking here we are actually helping the academy immensely as it:
a)seems like a friendly place (ha!)
b)gets on the active enteries bit on the front page
