That should of course have read 'Helguson'. Amusingly, Watford have a keeper on loan from Chelsea who goes by the name of Leonard Pidgeley - he's clearly destined for non-league with a name like that
Or maybe he fell through a time-warp from the fifties.

Much like Wenger, without Henry we would be nowhere. A total of 9 out of the 17 players this week had Henry to score first in an Arsenal victory, thus bagging themselves 4 points in the process. Sadly no one got the scoreline right so there were no full houses awarded for that game.
However there were 3 full houses in other games this week. Special mention must go to me[Andy]g for getting a "scoring" full house with the Watford game - I do so prefer those to the nil-nil version. They're much more aesthetically pleasing.
Also special commiserations should go to poor old spook. The one week he doesn't have a bash with his usual 'low scoring' result, and along come TWO nil-nils! Never mind sunshine
Finally I turn my atention to the top of the table where things are getting interesting. For the last five weeks Ormondroyd has been putting in a solid set of results and has closed the gap on Number Six from a frankly enormous 15 points down to only 3. Could there be a change at the top in the closing weeks of the season?

Can somebody please tell me why I'm crap at this game. 'Cos I really, genuinely haven't worked it out yet.

That post is a contradiction in itself. If you did average ten points a week, you'd currently be topping the table by four points.

i missed the week before last and i think i only scoredlike 7 or 6 for a couple of weeks. but normally i get a good 10, unless i am entirely wrong which would explain why i am 6th

creachy Posted Nov 4, 2003
oooh, i only got 2 points one week what happened there
well, that means i average 7.5 points a week so i was wrong and overly confident.
but Master B on the other hand was right. averaging only 5.25 points per week, you really do suck

I do find Master B's performance bizarre. I mean the chap talks knowledgably and confidentally about football - far more so than I for example. Yet can't get it together to predict accurate scores.
I guess it's just one of those mysteries of our modern world...!

Yes, I would like an explanation of your dip in form as well. You're starting to cost me money now
Um creachy... there are no prizes for half a season's performance you know
