OK, that was a little melodramatic, but I am having trubble indeed.
How do I start a new line in guide ml?
When I press enter, it seems to make no difference.
Then I tried prefacing my line with a and ending it with an but then it gave me all sorts of errors at the end about expecting P or something. Now my lines run together...!

Try instead of in the end. That should fix it. 
A normal line break is made with

I was just putting the / in the wrong place.

jUST Discovered new thing! In Brunel they have all these helpful things in a toolbar on top of the box. Why only in Brunel?

Because the Brunel skin is newer than Goo and Alabaster. They never got round to put different new ideas into the old skins.
