DNA, profanity and evolution

DNA would certainly have recognised, and probably applauded, at least one aspect of this - the virtual evolutionary arms race.
Undoubtedly some way will be found of blocking the loophole; undoubtedly someone will find a loophole in the block. And so on...

Interesting point Noggin
I see that, as with any human (pack animal) activity, our styles of communication are truly evolving - and it's a slow process
"Ending a sentence with a preposition
is something up with which I will not put."
Winston Churchill
Rules are imposed by those in authority (does that word stem from 'author', in terms of 'writing'???) and are either accepted or rejected by 'virtue'
Accepted by 'virtue' of 'them' having bigger sticks/guns/whatever AND/OR the rules being seen as sensible in the eyes of those who they apply to (in the eyes of those to whom they apply )
Yet often, rules are rejected by those who have the power to make the necessary changes OR the option to leave the pack/group and go elsewhere
TPTB are simply temporary guardians of something that will, hopefully, outlive all of us.. What saddens me is that, the way I see it, they are imposing rules that have the potential to alter the 'evolutionary' path of this community to a point where it's weaker and less likely to survive
Of course, I could be compltely wrong - indeed, I hope I am
Long live h2
DNA, profanity and evolution

I just discovered today that according to the BBC filther the word frïck (without those ¨ thingys over the i) is considered a swear word! Well I never! It was actually a typo. I had meant to say flick!
Meanwhile, it helped me evolve somewhat and realise I could actually post féck without the need of the code thingy (well, for now).
