This is incredibly interesting, I'm fascinated by the practical aplications.

Hey zoomer!

Well, from a purely practical perspective, it can serve as a work-around when writing Guide entries that 'need' to use (in context) words that are perfectly 'innocent' (from a common-sensiscal standpoint), yet 'fail' due to the (as yet) rule-rich/feature-poor profanity filter

I simply doctored some javascript code (aimed at obfuscating email addresses - to minimise spam attacks) to create a simple, yet effective html page that converts any regular text at the click of a button

Flick me an email if you want a copy - it's only 14kB, and v fast... instantaneous really smiley - smiley

Cheers

No, back in the sun and warm. I started this thread when I was trying to contact you the morning (evening before here) of the 1st. Technically, stuff like this points out the Luddite in me but I do try!
