Free will enables one to do harm to another.
Evil is not Gods doing it is mans choice.
The suffering of a few teaches compassion to many.

Got to agree... Sometimes good can come of suffering (I can think of my route to becoming Christian, for one thing). I was a literally very young Christian when I wrote that!
Suffering is a sort of by product of free will. God doesn't want it, but His love for us grants us the freedom to do what we wish, and suffering is often a consequence of man's selfishness. Kind of like when you're a parent, sometimes your kids get hurt, you don't want them to get hurt, but they learn a lot from it!
