You mean it isn't just the USA that's plagued with so-called 'reality TV' programming? How depressing.
Of course, our programming has the added feature of being continually interrupted for commercials, thus reducing the national attention span to about 5 minutes. On the other hand, the audience is killing off their brain cells by the zillions just watching this garbage, so this is probably no big loss.
