Hi Fattylizard! Thanks for volunteering
I guess the first question to ask is if you are familiar with the UnderGuide and the miner scheme? These pages pretty much define it, but there are a few great pages elsewhere.
You certainly seem enthusiastic! It should be helpful to get into the AWW and comment on the entries while I get ready to recruit you
Once you're done with that, you can send an email to UnderGuideEditors at hotmail.com so that we can get your email address and then we can send you an invitation to the yahoogroup.

Fab, thanks I will. I've been reading the entries in AWW all day, but it's pretty hard to post a lengthy response, cos I'm in work. But i'll probably comment on them all over the weekend, and then send the e-mail early next week.
I did have a read of all the pages pertaining to the miners, and it seems pretty clear. Have quotas been defined or anything? And I wouldn't mind a bit more detail on the specific duties of a miner.
Thanks a lot, Jodan

Actually, they still haven't. We do give instructions to vote on entries, but I'm not sure how long that system will last. We have accepted our first four entries, as you probably have noticed
And replies don't have to be lengthy. A simple 'I liked this' when you do actually is rather encouraging. Right now, there are only a few miners in the AWW doing most of the work, so we need some more dedicated people
My pleasure.

Great! That I can do in work!
I did know that some entries had already been picked, as my girlfriend wrote Game Play. So yay her! In fact, that's how I found out about the Underguide.
Now I have to go upstairs, cos our supervisor is leaving, so probably back in 5

Yay lizardlike!
I'd volunteer too, but you wouldn't want to have to cope with the two of us! We make an unbearable doubleact

You really don't know what you're letting yourself in for.
But lizardy wants me to and it looks like fun, so...what the heck.

To save myself from carpal tunnel sydnrome, please read post 2
We're not the most businesslike bunch. The AWW is a bit more anarchic, so I think you'll fit in nicely.
It's very important that both of you get into the AWW Right now there are about 4 regulars. I see you've done a fair bit of commenting, but it'll be easier to help manage the UG when the AWW is running nicely

Have read message and understand duties, Sah!
We'll send a combined e-mail since we have the same addy. To the untrained eye we are indistinguishable
I'll wander over to AWW later and have a mooch around.

Oh, well if you have the same address it's good you'll both be miners, 'cos we can't really have a non-miner spying on us
Make sure to sign your emails!
