As this is my observation of how I think the world works at some level, being subjective I don't think it can be anything but an AWW entry, unless you know better?

I shall be away for a few days, so if I don't respond, it isn't because I can't think of an answer, it is because I am literally away, not absent minded and callous in my lack of response

From my point of view, this could be hugely entertaining - not saying anybody would buy it for a millisecond, mind, but it could be entertaining - if you'd only let the reader in the private conversation you've got going here. Nobody is going to get any of those references if you don't introduce them and contextualise them. For some odd reason, readers usually refuse to do writers' work for them.

Start somewhere that someone reading might conceivably recognise as a point of departure. To take the simplest possible suggestion:

'What is this thing called reality, anyway? If you've ever asked yourself this question, you're not alone. A lot of thinkers have have done a lot of pondering over the centuries. Maybe you'd like to know some of the things they've come up with....'

Just an idea.

It might be in my case because although I haven't had an official diagnosis, associational thinking is involved in the condition and that might explain me seeing relationships where other people don't

That is a sophisticated insight - and one I wish more people had.
