you're welcome
I myself am grey, some of the other members of the group can still count their grey hairs (count as in ... one ....... two ....... oh, there's another one)
I even traveled on a pensioners ticket on a local bus, 10 years too soon

That's what my doctor keeps telling me. Hope it's right because its not as much fun as staying out too the early hours every nite.

Problems start when youngsters offer to help you cross the road, even if you don't want to cross it.
I was once asked for my bus pass from the driver

What's unusual about that?
I guess I must have a look in the forum, eh? Haven't been there for ages.

This was twenty years ago, when I was the embodiment of fitness, it was a get a pensioner day at the local school and I had white hair so I would do

I don't know, I didn't ask any. But I did know one who served in the Navy during the war and had a metal bar inserted into a door frame, everyday he did fifty pull ups on it More than I could do and I was relatively young.
In fact I started to go grey when I was 25ish, and I used to look like a pop star because I had my hair bleached then highlighted with darkest blond and lightest blond highlights, until I asked the question why spend so much when my hair is so white it looks bleached anyway.

Well, you could have chosen some other colour to dye it.
I usually have my hair coloured in a reddish tone.

I did that once, and it didn't suit me at all. The only one that did was the very expensive spend all day in a salon look, that I can't believe I paid for. Cost over sixty pounds then, a long time ago.
