Rains - Wondering where time's going and why it's in so much of a hurry!

Entry: Understeer and Oversteer – How to Tell Which is Happening and How to Get Out Of It - A1062776
Author: Rains (Keeper of Inappropriate Honesty & The Sound of a Rover V8, help I've lost the plot!) - U205100

Hello all,

I've checked through the Guide and made sure this isn't covered by anyone else, although the entry A1011853 is related if not totally similar.

I'm looking forward to hearing what you all think to it.

Cheers,

Rains

Is your entry written using Mark up lanaguage? if it isn't you just put the A number of the entry in it.

Thanks :o) - I'll attempt to link to these pages as they'll work pretty well.

I have used mark up language but as it's my first go I was bit nervous about trying to link things. But you don't know till you try!

I've added the links in as part of the entry - wasn't sure whether to do that or incorporate a links section, but as there were only a couple I decided not to.

smiley - ok
Well explained Rains.
With modern power-steering oversteering is very easy for the inexperienced driver, I'm currently teaching 2 of my daughters to drive, and steering too sharply or too late is their greatest sin. (Of course I have a shed and they take lessons in something the size of a cat basket, which doesn't help.)

smiley - cheers

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.

If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.

Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Power steering is great for parking but not for handling purposes!

As for size of car, if they can cope with driving yours and the driving school tiny thing then that's pretty good. My dad made a point of getting me to drive his barge-like Volvo while I was learning in a Fiesta - initially nerve-racking but ultimately good experience.

Glad you think the entry is clear - it was all the stuff I wished someone had told me when I bought my first car.

Congrats Rains!

And just to be *really* picky, it's power-assisted steering... smiley - winkeye

Thanks - feels good to be picked!!

I know, but I can never be bothered to write it all out and writing PAS seems to confuse people.
