Thanks, two weeks after my exams are over I realised that I have been going on totally the wrong tract for my very important essay, so have had to start again, and re write 5000 words. In a week.

Yes, but I bet you understood the subject matter to begin with, it's taken me this long to be able to read a research article on the subject. Still I'm there now.

Right, a saturday night in August (we will need time to organise and book, I expect. Or at least enquire to see if they'll need a booking for the h2g2 hoardes(sp?)).

so far the only sat i KNOW im not around 4 is the 1st one (i think the dates aug 2nd but not too sure), but id prefer the meet not to be the last one either if possible

Hang on is this actually a definate date, I don't think we're organised enough for this Saturday, things went dead, and I forgot, 
We have to book, really get people interested, and organise a time, and put it on the "up coming meets page"

I read the backlog. As I understood it there was no fixed date, people wanted a weekend in August and at last count there were three people you couldn't make this weekend.
Howsabout we organise for the weekend of the 9th or the 16th?

That was highly out of character, I have plans for the Friday the 8th, plans to which you and Vip are invited, but hte Saturday is fine, I'd personally go for something later because it would give me some time to organise it.
