Elandria XI dies on dungeon level 13 today. After takign out 3 baby dragons, 4 Dark Elf Priests and a whole host of animals bent on munching him up he fell to a fatal wound from a Cold Hound.
In his honour im doing a 1 minute not moving with my new character before i start playing.

not spiders, hounds!
although i did find some rather massivly hard spiders kicking about. cave spiders are only a worry till either level 5 or you get area affect spells. Some of these things took multipul beatings to kill.

I put the spiders in because I can't help but associate the little f**kers with Angband. They've claimed too many "starting-out" characters.

I can handle Smeagol, the Dark Elves et al but when it comes to cave spiders I really, really hate the little feckers!
Mind you, I don't worry about them so much now that I have a kick ass morning star and PDSM

its not cheating if they leave stuff like that in .txt files! its just being nozy!
