I remember many years ago (okay, it was just about 13 months), wehn I was living in the Student trap known as Fallowfield in Manchester, I saw this game being played by students who lived opposite me.
As far as I can gather, it went like this
Find a dead pigeon
Dress up in silly clothing (the students raided a dressign up box - must have been drama students - to resembel charaters from Andy Pandy)
1 guy (who I'm going to call The Heartless Evil Pratt) dons some rollerskates (roller boots or inlines will work) and picks up the pigeon and goes to the starting possition.
Small aside - The roads where this was played on were in a grid shape, with long avenues that are crossed by a road. The starting place is on the crossing road, just out of sight of the rest of the partisipants who are stationed 50m down the avenue
The Heartless Evil Pratt comes roaund the corner wailing like a little girl and speds towards the other competitors who are contrigating in a lose bunch in the middle of the road. They also scream. He then throwns the piegeon at the crowd, anybody he hits is out, any injuries are extra points for him.
These are the rules I have gathered. I do not approve of this sport, just wish to mention it
