DS and Gary
Hope you have a Halloween
That's bright and scary too
Because this is the kind of day
That's being wished for you.
Ghosts and goblins, cats and bats,
We're not afraid of this or that.
They are only make-believe,
Funny costumes on Halloween.
Ghosts and goblins, cats and bats,
We're not afraid of this or that.

Greetings to you madame !!!!
Hi Katrine,
Firstly, .
I remember seeing toffee apples at fairs and circuses while in England. Used to enjoy target shooting stalls - on many occasions the stall owner used to give an additional gift and request me to stop or he will go broke !!!!
Hope you've been having a nice time these past few days.
Have you finished your posting to "Front Page"?
Warm Regards,
DS

Thank you for the
I remember buy at the greengrocers in Ashington in the 60's and the biggest disappointment was that the apple was soft as I even to this day prefer crisp apples.
Thank I have been having a good few days I hope the same has been with you.
The entry for about China with photographs has been rejected as it needs to be written by the person who has visited China, ie Nikkita who took the photas.

Greetings from Colombo!!!!
It's been a rainy weekend here. Terrible shame about , I cannot understand why they objected. Anyway, hope you think of another topic for when time permits.
We've been having fuel shortages due to a work-to-rule campaign by the petroleum company union. This has added to the already gloomy weekend.
Please suggest an appropiate Cocktail to cheer up a very wet Colombo. Thankyou .
Trust all's well with your course of study and you pass with "flying colours".
Warmest Regards,
DS

Greetings from Thurrock
Thank you for the and for the
I have been looking for conkers to put outside my window sill to stop daddy long legs from coming in.
It has also been a rainy and windy weekend with gales which I loved as I always sleep a lot better when it's windy. The windy it is, the better I sleep.
Here is a Harvey Wallbanger with vodka, hazelnut liqueur, and a slice of orange. In a glass with ice, I have added vodka and orange juice. Stirred and floated liqueur on top. Garnished with an orange slice.
I am now waiting to continue my English and Maths course in just over a weeks time. I have had a three week break and will be commening next Wednesday. I had been going very well in my course but I had ended the course but will be returning very soon.
I hope everything will return back to normal and the work-to-rule campaign wil ended.
Warmest best wishes and regards

Madame,
An excellent choice ..... the Harvey Wallbanger with vodka, hazelnut liqueur and a slice of orange. In a glass with ice, added vodka and orange juice. Stirred and floated liqueur on top. Garnished with an orange slice. Wow!!!! That has fully nullified the terrible weekend.
The fuel work-to-rule was settled, not before seriously inconveniencing the general public. I was livid with the politicians and the unions.
Colombo weather is still quite bad. I too like the rain, and, sleep even better and for longer on rainy days.
Warmest best wishes and regards

Hello DS,
Here's another Harvey Wallbanger and here's a Bamboo with fine sherry , dry vermouth, angostura bitters and 2 orange bitters .
I would be very happy if you had double the amount of snow that fell in the Essex area last January. The advantages are it makes the night look lighter, the sound of the traffic is hushed as I live in a maisonette on a very busy street, people travel by car or other vehicles because the public transport is so poor.
It's good to hear that the fuel work-to-rule ended but it's bad that it had to be at the expense of seriously inconveniencing the general public.
Thanks for the Harvey Wallbangers click, click
Warmest best wishes and regards

Hi Katrine,
Greetings from Colombo !!!!!
Many, many thanks for Harvey Wallbanger , Bamboo with fine sherry , dry vermouth, angostura bitters <oj< and 2 orange bitters !!!!
A great cocktail
I wish we had some snow here in SL. Earlier today, I returned from an extended site visit - it was "freezing" (10°C ). I also had a little luck with the game - a barking deer .
My daughter is coming on the 1st Dec., for her "summer holidays". They follow the Australian academic calendar. She'll be here till the end of Feb.
Thankfully the fuel strike was settled.
Hope you're planning a great weekend.
Warmest best wishes to you,
DS

Hello DS
Here are a few fine ports .
I really enjoy it when there are clear skies with frosty nights and days. As if there is frost then there will be sunshine. I have seen a ground mist when it has been frosty but that was last year and it only lasted the morning but it looked very beautiful.
I back at my course and I am enjoying myself, the usual classroom that I go to is having work done so we are going to another room.
Thanks I am looking forward to the weekend and I hope you will have a very pleasant and enjoyable one.
chocolate liquors.
Warmest regards and best wishes
Katrine
