*What* are Canada's National Treasures?
anhaga Posted Jan 5, 2012
I was just thinking about this thread, contrasting it with the thread which spawned it. And I was reminded of the World War (1? 2?) Bit of wisdom about how to tell a Yank from a Brit from a Canadian ...
A Yank walks into a bar like he owns the place.
A Brit walks in like he wished he owned the place.
A Canadian walks in like he doesn't give a frak who owns the place.
I started this thread.
I don't own it.
I hope nobody gives a frik about anyone who claims ownership of it.
And I think that attitude is a national treasure

Speaking of bars..
I submit the Nanaimo Bar as one of Canada's National Treasures
Actually, I submit someone else's Nanaimo Bar. This one is all mine, and I'm eating it
