Please can anyone help to tell me how it is possible to copy and paste from an individual posting without copying the whole thread/conversation?

Highlight the text "how it is possible" then right click and copy or "Ctrl+C" to copy.

Hi Kat,
There is a bug in the plain skin which prevents you from selecting part of the text to copy. If you are using a PC (in order to get cut and paste), you could use another skin to view threads. You can do this in preferences (must remember to change back) or in the URL for just that page. Or you could view source to get a (rather complicated) text version of the page in another window from which you could cut and paste. You could resign yourself to copying the whole page but then, in edit, delete all the unwanted bits. You could change the URL with skip and show parameters to just show the 1 post but you would still have to select and copy all the header stuff before the post and delete it.
Someone has mentioned this bug to Jim before but it obviously hasn't been fixed. One of us could try raising it again.
