Greetings all. This bit here was inspired by Vercingetorix, mate, so's I could find out, among other things, how many readers I actually have (I don't know!)
For the interested: Today is the six month anniversary of Next to the Custard's being published in . To the day. Go on, check, episode one was published October 17th 2002. And since then there's not been much feedback at all really, so I want to change that. What are the favourite episodes so far? (I wonder if they're the same as mine...)
Drumroll, fanfare, announcement: this episode marks the half-way point of Next to the Custard. There should be seventeen more episodes before the conclusion is reached (hopefully before October 17th 2003).
There are many questions still left unanswered. Hopefully today's started to explain the title of the whole damned thing. There's a bunch more questions I know I have to answer, and indeed plan to answer, and a few I haven't even asked yet which I have to answer, but there's probably a few which haven't occurred to me along the way and I want to know what those are. So, ask away, please!
Ripper, tA.

I read every one and have enjoyed them all so far - even if everyone seems to be finished off just as we start to know them... a bit like the red shirts in Star Trek!

Yes, but that was part of the original plan... what I'm most pleased about is seeing Ripper continuing the story so ably since I had to hand over to him. Even his Kingdom dialect is improving
