h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Upon entering the shoppe, you are staggered by the shear number of wnads you see. There are pretty new modals in the front window, models of moderate age, but still un-used in most of the rest of the building, and a few used ones in the very back for bargain customers. Shoppe Master G'kar will help in anyway possible, and he is an expert in descerning the wand needs of others. Come in won't you?

'I'm kind of new here.. D'ya think you could help me find a wand?'

[G'Kar] Most likely.

Kleopatra sighs with relief,'Any chance you got one with a unicorn tail-hair? My mom had one like that and I seem to be most compatable with that kind.'

certainly!

*G'kar removes a box from under the counter and opens it. He removes the wand there-in*

knotty pine, polished. 13 inches long, four unicorn tail hairs. Give it a swing

Kleopatra takes the wand and waves it around. Sparks begin flying from the end. 'Well, that was easy! And it seems to be the right length and weight, too. Thank you!'Kleopatra grins and bows politely.

[G'kar]We aim to please, that'll be 10 sickles

Kleopatra pulls out and counts the money.. hands over ten sickles. 'Thank you for helping! You were so helpful.'

*Snaps a photo of his first customer, takes the sickles, then develops the picture in special chemicals so that it moves.*

And you have been a wonderful first customer!

*bows politely* 'Thank you!' *walks out of the door carrying her new 13 inch knotty pine wand with four unicorn hairs* 'And you've been a wonderful shopkeep!' *waves as she exits*

[G'kar] Thank you too! thanks to you, I am breaking even on keeping my shop.

*Waves hand, then wand. Little fireworks that say "thanks" burst out of the end and illuminate the old Narn's happy face.*

Any Chance you could help me find a good dueling wand? I don't seem to be compatable with the main three components though, so we might have to get a little creative.

hmm, oak is always good, I'v a twelve inch english oak wand some where here, let's see...

*G'kar rummages around in a large cabinet full of differently colored boxes*

..not that....nope....not even close...not him either...nope....nodda...nicht...nien...oh....well...maybe...there she is!

*in a disticntly anime moment, G'kar pulls a box out by its corner and holds it alloft, the room suddenly fades away and little swirlies and birds and whatnot appear and a "good" musical tone sounds*

*in a more normal moment (if wizarding things are ever really normal) G'kar lowers the box and sets it on the counter top. he lifts the cardboard lid away, scoops the shredded paper asside and picks up the wand with his fingers*

this is English oak, very strong, there is a powerful Thunderbird feather inside it, immersed in a mana enhancing draft. it will be less tiring to duel with it and the spells will be a more potent, but getting used to the wand will take some time, and spells might no always work out the first few times, until you get stronger. then, it will be powerful indeed. go on, give it a wave.

*presses the wand into Kiro's hand*

Sure I'll give it a try.

*Swing, whoosh! the door suddenly catches fire*

*with a flick of his wand, the door is restored*

[G'kar] better than I had expected, this wand likes your touch. it will be 7 gallions

*counts out the money, seven Gallions, and gives a slight bow as he leaves the sshop*

*G'kar graciously accepts the gallions and bows himself
