Yet another school project (along with A933978 which almost got sent to the Flea Market...) that, I think, consolidates most of the information available on the net.

Great entry awesome list of referenced sites.
Actually I think that is the main thing needing a change - I would suggest reviewing the links made and keeping only those that are needed to give further information on the subject, possibly including them in a references section at the end, which adds why particular links are worth visiting.
As far as h2g2 or BBC sites are concerned you could also link to :
A663077 The Way of the Warrior - Bushido and the Warrior Arts - that briefly mentions Kabuki
A635519 'The Mikado' - the Comic Opera - that was inspired by Japanese culture (indirectly Kabuki)
http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/world/asia-pacific/country_profiles/newsid_1258000/1258586.stm - that provides info on modern Japan

Thanks for the suggestions about the reference list... Right now it's just a list of all the sites I looked at for information when I was researching it... there's a lot of duplicity, so I suppose I should probably trim it!

you should probably mention the cult troma movie "sgt kabukiman NYPD" in there somewhere, but don't ask me where.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Well Done Jargon
I'd still work on the links, so they're what you'd like rather than the sub-ed (sub-ed's tend to restrict themselves to adding links within h2g2 or the bbc site)

Looks like I won't have till Sunday-ish to work on the links...so, sub-eds... if you can hold off till I finish that, it'd be super cool. Thanks.
