Stumbled across, and jumped into, a thread on ask h2 regarding the relatonship between emotions and eating habits. it's a problem I continue to struggle with, in spite of my seemingly helth-conscious attitudes, so thought I'd post a link here. I opened up and posted at length, in hopes of getting some perspective and maybe some help with the problem. I thought perhaps others here might get some help from it is as well, so here is the link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/F19585?thread=372633

Thanks for the link Psychocandy,
I would have missed it as I haven't been in askh2g2 much.
I will probably just lurk for a bit. It is a bit too much of an open forum for me to comment, I think - well for the moment anyway

I lurked for a while before leaping into the conversation. Once I do that, I usually wind up regretting it and feeling all embarrassed. I really had quite a rant, but luckily so far everyone seems supportive and not patronizing or judgmental.
Just didn't want anyone to miss the opportunity to either lurk or participate, as it seems many other people besides myself struggle to balance emotional eating habits. If it helps even one person, even just a little bit, then I'm glad I left the link here for people to find.

I have been wanting to contribute to that also.
Maybe I will still make it there.
