S*d off! Where've you been anyway?
Off to play the shippong with mother game...catch up later.
You were right! It was banal even the offsprung said I should not experiment further with that genre...when she had stopped laughing!
Take care

No offence taken. Hope the busiyng went well. no new entries from my fave ritter? Wots up? Don't tell me you have found an agent AND a publisher? You deserve both mind you.
Liked the Batvia entry btw. You are exceedingly good, but you know that. Off to trawl amazon for some grammar and vocabulary books! Perhaps I could do an entry in arabic? Perhaps I could learn arabic?...perhaps I should learn english!
Take care

Hiya Boots
You're , you know that? You know where to stroke a tired old phocoid anyway.
Yep, most of the recent writing effort has been into grander projects. The Weddell has read the draft of the novel, and judged it worth a punt. I hadn't expected a favourable verdict, so excerpts and a synopsis are winging to plausible agents with hopes as buoyant as one dares allow.
We shall see.
I liked the florist piece in the Post a lot - sorry, should have said sooner. I can't work out whether you're writing from life experience, or making it all up. If the former, let's hope it's heavily embellished or you badly need a new circle.
The Weddell also thinks you're famous, btw. She hasn't exactly said which famous person you are, mind. Verminette, overhearing all of this, says that if you're David Beckham, can she have your autograph?
Unlikely though. Can't see Becks wanting to learn Arabic...

'ello Toria and I can't find phocoid in ello magazine. we wanted to go and buy one. Do they do em in real madrid colours?
Alex is having a bit of a strop this morning. Say's I can't wear me 'airband on saturday. Toria says I can. bit of a domestic there.
Salaam

PS Can I come to the book launch? Pleeeeese? promise I won't bring any of my friends!
Not famous alas. Had fifteen seconds of mediocre celebrity in a distant life but prefer my current RL obscurity. Offsprung did say 'you haven't really got the angels coming have you?'
(I love the way they believe parents can make anything happen!)
'It is fiction you know darling' I replied.
'You can never tell with you, you tread a very fine line'.
Well done Pin. You will be published and widely applauded and both will be well deserved.
Take care

Mine or Pins Friendly?
My rejection slip collage grows apace...it could in fact be ready for next years Turner prize. I actually had a postcard yesterday from a kind soul to say they had received my latest 'looking for another rejection slip' submission. Thought that was quite cool... never had a postcard of acknowledgment before. Apparantly it will be read in the next two weeks...must put note in diary not to be frightened by large postal thud through door on or around 20th june.
As for Pin...well perhaps I should leave that to him.
take care (and thanks for kind postings)

I'm good, anyhow!
If a bit rejected. I never can understand why these silly people never appreciate my pure unadulterated boundless infinite genius.
Boots'll be along soon, to agree with me...

Oh b*gger...
*pinches himself*
I hadn't realised.
That I'm not dead, that is.
(The intellectual status is not in doubt, of course)
