A Conversation for Wheelbarrows
Time and Motion
clzoomer- a bit woobly Started conversation Jun 17, 2003
My father used to tell a joke about a Time and Motion Study Man (do they still have those?) who was on a worksite. He found a (suitably bufoonish ethnic or regional) workman who was pulling a wheelbarrow instead of pushing it.
*Do you know it is more efficient to push the wheelbarrow than to pull it?* He asks the workman.
*You may be right sir, but after 20 years on the job I can't stand the sight of the damn thing!*
