I enjoyed your article and then spent twenty minutes calculating a GCR that would cross closest to the North Pole from my airport (YVR). Shhh! Don't tell the boss but it's near Tehran!

Btw, when calculating GCRs, do NOT click the launch button because then you will find yourself actually ON a great circle route to ... are you still there? Oh oh, maybe you already... 
- really I don't know what they were thinking when they put it there. Well, do send a postcard.
