Call be weird, but I've always preferred salty. But then again the sweet popcorn in the cinema is definately infinately better than that Butterkist stuff. It's just icky.

Well isn't it *all* over-priced? There's a garage just down the road from the cinema in my town that must be making a fortune from cinema goers. I know I've gone to the garage for sweets/drinks before a film. Can be a bit cheaper but you have the fun of smuggling certain things in.

yea thats true. I remember once it was a saturday night and a few of my mates decided we would all go to the cinema and watch the 1st saw movie. We all managed to get in despite being under 18. Little did my friends now id smuggled a few cans of the ole brisky (beer)and we all got a be loud and we were all just laughing through-out the film. There were a few "shhhs" i can asure you!

i kept on wondering if we would all get chucked out at some point, but we never did hehe, but yeah, in this conversation, SWEET popcorn wins as long as you get it from the garage down the road from the cinema :P

Banning popcorn? Heard of pkaces banning boiled sweets coz they can be used as missiles. But popcorn seems a bit odd.

Interesting....
Liked where it said some people hate popcorn and asked the cinema to ban it. Fair enough that it's annoying whenb the floor's sticky and kids throw it everywhere, but then ask the cinema to clean properly and kick the kids out.

Smuggling food into a cinema...
My reenactment group did swordfighting/music stage shows at a cinema for the Lord of the Rings premieres. Wearing cloaks will let you smuggle anything in.
We didn't just manage drinks by the crates and bags of , the orcs in the group managed to smuggle in an entire roast piglet.
They sat in the very front row and devoured it messily during all fight scenes, so the bits flew everywhere. They said it added realism.
Ah, good times...
