Some Wiccans refer to themselves as Witches, and therefore are the same, while others don't. One of the beautiful things about Wicca is that it is very hard to make sweeping generalizations.
And is there anything wrong with wearing a Pentacle/Pentagram?

Well, just like names can have power, whether you know what you are doing or not, symbols can can have power that you aren't aware of.
Besides the usefulness of the income to the jewelry industry, the proliferation of symbols also means they have less meaning to those to whom they really matter.
