h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Reminds me a little of the "goat path" - the never completed Rt 23 alternative to New Holland Pike.

I don't know very much about the story behind the "goat path", but I do find myself driving on bridges that pass over it from time to time. In some areas you can see what looks like grass covered raised roadbeds of a dual highway. While the traffic on New Holland Pike continues to worsen, the debate rages on about whether or not the alternate route even needs to be finished.
