Ah yes--the sad thing is that *that* was precisely what I wound up thinking when I saw ...that line from South Park. Ah me...

Heh heh
My roommate Chad got a bad flat tire once, and ended up bending the wheel-rim. When he got it repaired, they gave him a receipt that said: "Rim job - $4.50"
I think he framed it and put it on his desk at work.

You know, we are the only group of people I know who could gracefully segway into a discussion about rim jobs from a discusion about PBS and Sesame Street.
Looks like we might have pillaged this thread as well, no one else has posted in awhile. This might be easier than you guys think!

er, pick one and I'll follow...
We could see if there are any more on innocent subjects like Sesame Street...
The only bad thing is, we didn't mean to end these discussions, it just sort of happened...

A more innocuous subject would have to be slime molds. To my knowledge, they have yet to cause a single fatality.

Awwwwwww man....you ruined our posting streak. Now we can't claim this thread as pillaged. What a bummer.
I was having a hard time finding any innocuous groups that had people currently posting in them anyway. Maybe we should just pillage newsgroups. I'd kind of like to recreate the rec.cat pillage Riff mentioned earlier. Besides, there are far more annoying people in newsgroups than there are at h2g2.

I think I do too. I'd hate to piss them off by looting their lands and raping their daughters and such. Let's pick a Newsgroup. Most of those people are just asking to be pillaged. Suggestions?

A Popular Pariah Posted Aug 9, 1999
I would suggest one that is supported by a Southern Baptist denomination. They tend to become quite livid
when it comes to pillaging and raping. Either that or the AFTRA.

Indeed, an excellent word!
Livid. Livid.
livid livid lividlividlivid!

I wasn't aware of the popularity of the word "livid." "Furious," perhaps, but not "livid."
