"...the Group 4 project which has been introduced to the IB since it began." - if it was there when it began, it wasn't "introduced". Wouldn't "...part of the IB since the outset." make more sense? smiley - erm

I believe the sense of the sentence is supposed to be that it has been introduced, sometime after the IB began. There was someone in PR who'd done IB a long time ago, when there was no Group 4 project.

IIRC, of course.

Ah, OK, that interpretation, while not the first to come to mind when reading the sentence, has the saving grace of making some sort of sense. Perhaps the intent of the author should be ascertained at this point and some minor rewriting entered into... smiley - geek

Hi Peet.

I've contacted the author, and as soon as I've received confirmation that the sentence says what I suspect it does, I'll get a rewording in to the editors.

smiley - cheers

You know, this might sound ridiculous, but I know a teacher who says that they were the first to suggest the Group 4 week to the IBO. I'm at least sure that it wasn't there at the beginning anyway.

Sheesh, I'd almost forgotten about this. I haven't heard back from the author. I'll just get a note to an editor...
