Now That's a Goldcrest!

SashaQ writes: In 2023 I had success in photographing a Goldcrest after an earlier unsuccessful attempt. In 2024 I spotted one, but didn't manage to capture a photo of any quality. In 2025 I had more luck - a Goldcrest was flitting around in the leaf litter at the base of a tree. Here is my photo of the Goldcrest just as it started to fly towards me - its gold crest is clearly visible.

A small olive-brown bird with large eyes and bright golden yellow feathers on the top of its head.
