Masked carollers, can you spot Santa?
Joy to the world,
vaccines have come.

[Looking back two years can be scary. I wrote these carol parodies because there was nothing in the repertoire to reflect the fear that existed in so many places.]

God rest ye, merry gentlemen, be sure to wear your masks.

Get tested oft for Covid, keep your distance. These are tasks

To keep disease from grabbing you to then lead you astray,

So you'll still be around next Christmas Day.
Silent night, holy night.

There's no calmness in sight.

Round yon virgin there's Omicron.

God knows when it will ever be gone.

Sleep in heavenly peace?

Not until Covid has ceased.
Joy to the world, vaccines have come.

Perhaps we'll see some peace.

Let every arm

Be bared for a jab,

And heaven and nature sing.

(Wear your N95's when you sing),

And heaven, and heaven and nature sing.
