Wind farming is big business in northern Scotland, which is the windiest country in Europe. In fact, it's the fastest-growing renewable energy technology there. As of earlier this year, they have a capacity of 11,482 megawatts and produce almost all of Scotland's energy. The wind farms are both on- and offshore.
