A Spootie Well (Not a Clootie Well)

Spootie Well, by Paigetheoracle.

In Dingwall, Scotland.

The Spootie Well dates back to the 18th Century, and is a place to water horses. A Clootie Well is one reputed to have special healing powers. Bits of cloth are left on a nearby tree branch to represent prayers for healing.
