Factoid Fred Views a Trestle Bridge
The stone bridge (built in 1746 after the Jacobite rebellion) was washed away in a storm in 1849 and this replaced it but it has fallen into disrepair over the years. It is considered the finest such trestle bridge in Scotland and there is a campaign to restore it (see posters).
