Planting the Three Sisters
One of the great contributions to agriculture is the Native American discovery of companion planting. Companion planting is where you plant different crops together for their mutual benefit (and yours). The Three Sisters are corn (maize), beans, and some form of squash. FWR is doing this on the Wirral! He says he chose courgettes for his squash. From the photos, this is a rousing success.
