It doesn't matter which order you watch them in. It doesn't matter about plot holes. It doesn't matter about chronological anomalies. It just doesn't matter.
If I can send my mind to movieland and accept all manner of imagined things then I can tell my mind to mind its own business when it comes to plot holes.
All that matters is that an enjoyable story came from a wonderfully complex brain and was created by amazingly talented creative people into a series of movies.
Just watch them - in whatever order
Oh and have a beer too
Coz beer is good.
Oh just get over it guys!

"All that matters is that an enjoyable story came from a wonderfully complex brain and was created by amazingly talented creative people into a series of movies."
And that's the crux. The prequels aren't all that enjoyable.

Aw, that's a shame. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy them, I did.
I'll admit they were different, in many respects, but I enjoyed them. I'm generally a happy person so I tend to look for the things which give me pleasure and smudge out the less agreeable.
Have a try at smudging the disagreeable and I hope your life has much joy in it. Oh, and have a beer.
Or a gin, gin's good too.
Oh just get over it guys!

I have been watching this dialogue across the internet and have formed an opinion
which is this: I strongly suspect that people who are disappointed with the more recent Star Wars movies - the prequels - probably saw the first three movies (episodes IV V and VI) when they were kids. Star Wars was made ostensibly for kids - as were comic books originally.
We all just need to keep in mind that the Star Wars movies need to remain in the adolescent genre - they belong to kids. If you can enjoy them as they are meant to be enjoyed then you will be fine. But, once you grow up, don't expect them to grow up with you. Don't judge them by adult standards. The adults didn't when the first ones came out. They knew them for what they were, good clean adventurous fun!
I have been fine with all of them since the first one, which I saw with my kids
And although I have enjoyed every movie since the first one, I feel the prequels progress into some real darkness, but that is okay because we get to see how Ani's downfall came about - and that is a good lesson.
I can hardly wait for the sequels! The actors have gotten old enough to carry the story forward at at least the beginning of episode VII
Key: Complain about this post
Oh just get over it guys!
