Thanks for making me nostalgic for Cologne. It was a terrific place to work and live and I really am homesick for Germany now. I loved being able to walk all around the place and the wonderful public transport that made everything so easy to get around. I particularly loved Neumark. You did such a good job that DG had no trouble providing translations for the text.

It's just I miss it,so. Germany is great, once you get over the factor that the German police keep dossiers on everyone (not just the foreigners). Shades of a police state there, but they are realitively harmless compared to US ones on the whole. I wasn't impressed by the once incidence of burglary at the school we worked at on the Hohe Strasse. They seemed a bit cowardly custards to us but then any crook who'd burgle a language school wasn't too bright either.
Key: Complain about this post
