This is exactly the thing I love about the Guide. What a fab little article (and that has nothing to do with the photos - it was a great article even before the photos)
And now, of course, I want to go to Cologne again. Only I'll wait until after Christmas or I'll be squished in the crush.

Oh, yeah, stay out of that Weihnachtsmarkt.
The scaredest I ever was in my life: opening day for the Christmas market in Munich. Cubic closest packing. 
But nothing beats walking around Cologne in the snow.
