A Conversation for Computer Game Brain Saturation Syndrome

This is a very interesting and entertaining entry - I've experienced stages one to three, seeing the falling blocks from Tetris Attack when I try to sleep, and looking for good places to grind as I walk around after playing Tony Hawk's.
But I'm just wondering, are these stages and names for stages 'officially' recognised - if so, is there any research you can reccomend I look at? Or are names such as 'Digital Seepage' terms that the author has made himself (nothing wrong with them, it all makes sense, I'm just curious!)?

Hi Mr T!
These are my own terms... The only other reference to this syndrome I have ever seen is on an Adam & Joe TV show several years ago where they shrewdly pointed out what I have called Stage One... their example being Mario Kart I think.
The other stages are discrete steps in the game addiction identified from personal experience. In particular my friends and I have accidentally integrated 'Sim speak' and 'Shenmue speak' into everyday conversation :>
I also recall a H2G2 conversation in which someone had brain saturation from reading a book... she managed to finish reading it in her sleep! Her dream ending was much better than the actual ending :>

What do you mean ?!
Depends on your definition of 'official' I guess.
No administrative, governmental or corporate bodies have formally recognised my terminology - but I'm sure that everybody agrees that the above 'stages' are identifiable discreet steps in game addiction.
'Digital Seepage' was coined just for a laugh though.

Also, If anyone knows of any class 4 seepages involving P.C. utillities, i'd like to know.
There must be people like Data Input Clerks who have to look at spreadsheets all day, maybe they deram about them too. Or, a nightmare where your dream is 'Photoshopped' into reality.
