Well done Lighthousegirl for a very accurate description of the illness. I've been ill since 2001 and was diagnosed last year, so I'm still learning how to cope. Again well done smiley - rainbow

Recovery ? I wish lol.

Lots of rest seems to help but its getting the balance between doing too much and doing too little - as I'm sure you already know.smiley - rainbow

I've tried nutritional supplements but it's hard to tell whats working due to the natural variation in symptoms........

I'm thinking about taking up some gentle yoga too, but not in this heat, how are you coping with the heat ? I've been virtually wiped out....

Hello everybody!
I have suffered from M.E. on and off from about September 1998 but it has been getting worse since Christmas. It is really hard to cope as I am a teenager who has no social life and loads of stress due to doing GCSEs. Recently it has been so bad I am barely geting out of bed and completely wasting my schol holidays. I have just read that brilliant description by lighthouse girl and am wondering how others cope.

Hiya from another fellow sufferer. I have a nasty feeling I am on the verge of a relapse. I hope not, I was just getting my life together again (see my journal).

Am delighted to note that you mention the loss of balance. Mine has never come back and I find it very debilitating. It's also very difficult to explain to people!

Well done! You're a star!smiley - biggrin
