Hello..
I really enjoyed reading this entry - and I want to buy one now. I'm just a bit concerned about the claims you made about the medical uses.
I've spent a few minutes on Pubmed - www.pubmed.com which is the major search engine for medical /biology journals.
Mimosa Pudica + depression brings up 1 hit
Mimosa pudica may possess antidepressant actions in the rat.
Phytomedicine. 1999 Nov;6(5):319-23.
Mimosa Pudica + Menorrhagia - no articles.
Mimosa Pudica + nerve - no articles
Mimosa Pudica + diuretic - no articles
Mimosa Pudica + duodenal contractions again no hits.
I'm sure that you wouldn't be making the claims if you didn't have the soucres to back it up - after all you are a scientist. I'd just be grateful if you could let us know what that source is.

Then if you click on the hyperlink for the USDA Forestry Commision it takes you tro an article with some actual references. (The article wouldn't allow me to cut and paste its URL)
Key: Complain about this post
