A Conversation for Great Ways to Spend a Sunday

Wasn’t it Tony Hancock who said that Sunday was spoiled thinking about Monday…and Saturday was spoiled thinking about Sunday? Perhaps Sundays should be spent not thinking? Or perhaps, thinking about anything other than Monday.
I used to take my father’s Sunday Times off to the pub at lunchtime where it would finish up being scattered to the four corners. Always the lounge bar mark you, at a penny or two extra, not the spit and sawdust. Last orders (we are talking early 60s now) would see me frantically trying to locate various parts and reassemble them in something like the right order. It was draught DD we drank in those days (four pints max). Oh, blissful happy days. I used to love Sundays.
