SEA ISLE CITY
Next town south down the coast is Sea Isle City. Settled by the Irish and the Italians it is as family orientated as Ocean City, plus lots of "Irish" bars, most with live music during the summer. Nightlife highlights include 'Ocean Drive'(the OD, young crowd at the weekend), the Carousel (beachside bar with palm trees) and the Dead Dog Saloon (A 'Cheers' style bar, collared shirt dress code). During the day, browse the delightfully tacky shops on the boardwalk, try a Philli cheese steak from 'Marie's',or rent a sea-kayak on the beach.
